During a two week holiday on the Canary Island of Lanzarote, in June 2023, Trevor sat every day to transcribe spirit-inspired words. The following content is one of the collection of thirteen written during the stay. The photos are from Trevor’s collection taken during the duration.
DAY 3 WISHING I’D WRITTEN THIS
|| Session 3 of 13
I enjoy writing, can you tell? I’m not formally trained and don’t hold any qualifications. I make constant mistakes in my grammar and often find silly typos after I’ve published my work. But I like the process of writing about things I’m passionate about. Unlike the spirit-inspired words!
Don’t misunderstand me, I do like sitting for transcribing the person in spirit’s messages. It’s just that sometimes, I get frustrated with the disconnect that is part of the process. I write what I hear being said. It’s a conversation in my mind. The message from the speaker sometimes extends wider than mere words. I have an awareness of what is to be written, but don’t allow myself to think about it. I just write.
When I’m wrong in the interpretation of a specific word or sentence, the speaker corrects me through a knowing that I got it wrong. It doesn’t happen too often, but when it does, it means I have to rewrite the sentence while listening to the speaker.
During the writing process, I’ve only a little bit of focus on the composition of the message. I don’t always hear a full sentence and therefore grammar errors are quite common. As I’ve said before, we talk different than we write.
In today’s message the topic chosen by the speaker is inspiring. But as I reread it and converted it to digital writing, I couldn’t help but think how much better I might have made certain points, if I’d have thought to write about this subject myself. However, that would defeat the point of the message from the spirit speaker.
They talk to me as normal as we all talk to each other. The words flow as they would in any ordinary conversation. Always keep this in mind when you read these sessions. They’re not likely to be perfect pieces of written work, they’re normal conversations between the spirit world and my mind. That said, I tend to be the person listening!
