”Why are you crying?”, my father asked me.
“Because I’m going to die.” I replied.
He laughed and shrugged my comment off with the response , “We’re all going to die at some point.”
I hold very few memories of my early childhood. One such event that I can clearly recall is when I was very young. I remember the house as being our first terraced home in Gloucester. I even recall the actual address - 64 Alma Place (photo below). I would guess I was about 4 years old at the time. It was around 1964.
