Every Day Is A School Day

The most exciting aspect of working with the spirit world is the learning side of the work. Of course, I do get a buzz when I pass on a piece of evidence that means something valuable to someone, but that is just the icing on the cake, so to speak. The real fun is learning all I can about the topic.
Being a student every day is such a healthy way to be. The subject of mediumship, spiritualism, and all the other facets of this great topic has so much to learn and appreciate that nobody could ever get to know it all in a single lifetime.
I understand why some teachers of the subject do appear to act with a raised authority. That might be necessary for the role. However, remaining a student is vital, even in the role of a teacher. I suppose some might consider the work I share with readers online could be considered as a form of teaching. That may be so, but I remain a student as well.
In today’s session, I received a poignant lesson from my speaker in spirit, when I started to write words from my mind and stopped listening to the correct head voice.
Perhaps the lesson is one for us all. Perhaps we should be more aware that when we share information with others, it might be based too heavily on our own opinions and not necessarily on the actual facts.
