KEEP IT REAL
|| This summary written on Friday 16th February 2024
This is a phrase that we often hear our younger generation spouting off at every remotely related opportunity - keep it real! I’m sure that most users haven’t a clue what it means, and to be honest, I’m not entirely sure I do either!
None the less, I’ve chosen to adopt this annoying phrase for this pre-session summary. Let me explain why. I’m the marshal of my work and believe me, I rule with authority!
When I transcribe the messages from the other side for this WFSIW series, I do so to the highest of my abilities. It’s a huge learning curve, even though principally it’s a simple process. I’m not yet able to do this in what would be considered a deep state of trance. But I am aiming for that.
With all mediumship, including mental types such as this, there is always a varying degree of the person’s own mind active in the process. I have a set of strong rules that I abide by whenever I lift the pen to transcribe the messages. Such rules include not planning ahead what is to be the subject, not writing more than a few words that come into my mind therefore not forming sentences from my thinking.
So when I share a session with you, you can rest assured that both the topic, and the sentiments of the messages are not from my daily thinking. Of course, the language is often mine, as is the grammatical awareness required. But the message wholly remains that of the speaker.
Today’s session finds the speaker revisiting some basic questions he or she gets asked on a regular basis. The answers appear to fit nicely into the ‘keep it real’ category, or at least that’s how I read it.
Living on earth we automatically, and naturally abide by the biological and scientific conditions we have become accustomed to. When we move to the next stage of life, many of those rules and conditions change and we quickly adapt to the new order of things. But some aspects of life will continue as they always have done. Our speaker today reminds us that some things don’t actually change, even though we’d think they surely must do. That’ll all make sense after you’ve read this session.
Post Script
I did not the word that the speaker used to headline one question in particular. How it is spelt is how I heard it and it’s a way of softening the topic associated with it. You’ll get what I mean!
